Each year the Austin ISD Fine Arts Department holds an annual choir concert, The Choral Festival, which features the best singers from all of the schools in the district.  Students selected to this Honors Choir are considered to be the strongest singers on their respective campuses.  Auditions for selection to the All City Honors Choir are open to all current 5th grade Koala Choir members.

The Choral Festival Concert is held during the Fall Semester (late October/early November) at the AISD Performing Arts Center and is broadcast on AISD Channel 22.

Students that would like to audition for a spot in the Austin ISD Honor Choir will be given information at the beginning of the school.  The music selected as the audition piece will be sent home at that time as well.

The exact number of students selected to the Austin ISD Honors Choir varies from year to year as it based on each campuses student enrollment.
